Lexi was a very curious girl with a big imagination. She loved telling stories, and had a best friend named BG. Little did anyone know Lexi struggled with dyslexia.

Lexi’s Adventures are stories based on my real life events. When I was younger the school systems did not recognize the learning disorder Dyslexia. They only recognized that I was a slow learner. It was not until I was in High School that my guidance counselor told me that I was dyslexic. I was so relieved and happy to finally understand and put a name to my learning challenges. I was empowered to look at learning differently which expanded my creative thinking and opened my mind up to a whole new way of learning
